Project Title: AGRI-CIRC SocInoLab: Development of an Innovation Ecosystem and Creation of Tools to Support Social Innovations in Agriculture and the Circular Economy

Project Description:
The aim of the project is to improve the availability of tools for labour market and social inclusion for disadvantaged and vulnerable population groups. The main activity of the project is the development of innovation ecosystems and the creation of tools to support social innovations (SI) in the regions. The project sub-activities are grouped into four work packages:

  • WP 1 Establishment and support of SI incubators

  • WP 2 Creation of networking platforms

  • WP 3 Creation of knowledge platforms

  • WP 4 Capacity building and professionalisation of actors within the SI ecosystem

All activities are aimed at improving access to employment and activation measures, promoting equal access to inclusive education and training—especially for disadvantaged groups—and supporting active inclusion in order to promote equal opportunities, non-discrimination, and active participation.

SI incubators will be established in Nitra, Levice (circular economy), and Rožňava (social agriculture). The location of incubated and mentored activities will be in less developed regions (MRR).

Total eligible expenditure: EUR 1,557,090.37
Requested non-repayable financial contribution: EUR 1,479,235.84
Co-financing from own resources: EUR 77,854.53
