HOVEBA Ltd. – A Leader in Circular Textile Processing

We are delighted to introduce HOVEBA Ltd., one of three Slovak companies that have been awarded the prestigious TEX-DAN Made in Danube label, granted within the framework of the international TEX-DAN project under the Interreg Danube Region Programme.
HOVEBA is proof that the circular economy is already working successfully today. Based in Svit, Slovakia, the company collects textile waste, processes it in its own facility, and transforms it into secondary raw materials and finished products such as geotextiles and technical materials used in construction, infrastructure, and industry.
What Makes HOVEBA Stand Out
The company has developed a comprehensive circular business model—from the collection of textile waste to the production of new products. Its closed-loop material cycle contributes to the efficient use of resources, reduces waste generation, and decreases the consumption of primary raw materials.
An important part of HOVEBA's success is its active regional and transnational cooperation with partners across the Danube Region.
As part of the certification process, the company received 14 out of 15 points and was recognised as a strong candidate for the Grand Prize. Its systematic and scalable approach represents an example of best practice and contributes to the transformation of Slovakia's textile sector.
