TEX-DAN Budapest 2026

The National Recycling Agency Slovakia (NARA-SK) participated in the international meeting TEX-DAN Budapest 2026, which brought together experts, partners and organizations from several countries of the Danube Region to discuss the future of the textile economy, the circular economy and innovative solutions in the field of textile recycling.
For NARA-SK, the event was an important opportunity to meet with long-standing partners, exchange experiences and seek new cooperation opportunities. The expert discussions also included a presentation and discussion of the TOPE model (Textile - Circular - Industrial - Ecosystem), which the organization is developing as a tool for transforming textile waste into new products, economic opportunities and jobs in the regions.
Participation in TEX-DAN Budapest 2026 also enabled NARA-SK to establish new contacts and strengthen existing partnerships, which are essential for the successful development of a circular economy in the textile sector. The meeting confirmed that international cooperation, innovation and the pooling of expertise are key to creating sustainable solutions for the future of the textile economy in Europe.
