OPEN CALL for SMEs in the field of circular textiles
TEX-DAN MADE IN DANUBE
The TEX-DAN project invites micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and social enterprises from the Danube region to apply for the TEX-DAN Made in Danube certification. The certification recognises actors in the textile and fashion value chain that have already implemented circular solutions and contribute to strengthening regional value chains and reducing transport intensity.
Who can apply:
Eligible applicants are SMEs – including social enterprises, micro-enterprises, start-ups and private entrepreneurs – legally established in countries participating in the Interreg Danube Region Programme and operating in textile or fashion value chains, including production, design, repair, reuse, remanufacturing or circular services.
What is assessed:
Applications will be assessed on the basis of demonstrated results in four areas:
1. strengthening regional value chains and reducing transport distances;
2. implementing circular product or service solutions;
3. ensuring responsible and fair production practices;
4. contributing to transparency and cooperation in the textile ecosystem.
Successful applicants will:
- have the right to use the TEX-DAN Made in Danube brand;
- gain visibility through TEX-DAN communication channels;
- be invited to share their best practices within the Danube textile ecosystem;
- the TEX-DAN partnership and TEX-DAN Cluster will offer networking opportunities and targeted connections with other business entities;
